Color

I love the ambiguity of watercolor. Sometimes we try to will one thing into existence, and get a totally different result. Normally, that would be very frustrating, but not here. For me, it’s an exercise in trusting the process. Things often turn out differently than we want, but water teaches us how to cope with the stress of situations that don’t meet our expectations, changing them into an opportunity for awareness. The unexpected is often beautiful.
